According to a press release provided to The Daily Caller, the Jefferson County, Colorado Republican Executive Committee passed a resolution Thursday censuring its chairperson, Nancy Pallozzi.
In a press release, the Republican committee said Pallozzi’s accusations against the chairman were based on his “attempts to call a special session to defend a transgender and Pride Month agenda that harms children and undermines parental authority.” read. “President Pallozzi has done all of this. [pro-transgender] The committee claimed that it “took the initiative at its own discretion, using the county party’s letterhead and signing approval forms without the approval of the executive committee.”
The committee’s resolution declares all pro-trans actions taken by Pallozzi on behalf of the party invalid and calls on Pallozzi to cease any future actions or communications on this issue, the press release said.
Pallozzi has also been directed to turn over “all materials and communications related to this matter,” the committee wrote. These materials include media contacts she has had, interviews she has conducted and contacts with other county Republican Party chairs, the press release stated.
The Colorado Republican Party appears divided over how to approach Pride Month.
