Pilots Tell Me They Have Seen the Inexplicable

During an appearance on Logan Paul’s show, former President Donald Trump said pilots have told him they’ve seen strange things, and that they’re not “conspiracy theorists” or “crazy people.” Impulsive Podcast.

“I want to talk to you about aliens. UFOs, UAPs, information that recently came before Congress. Something is happening that is confusing and upsetting to many Americans. Something is happening. There are unidentified aerial phenomena in the sky. We don’t know what it is. Do you know?” Paul asked Trump, to which Trump answered the question carefully.

President Trump acknowledged that he had heard stories of sightings of unidentified objects traveling much faster than a jet plane from people who were not “conspiracy theorists” or “crazy people.”

“That’s a really common question and a really interesting question: I’ve actually met pilots who are just like you. Well, they’re more crew cut. Yes, they’re like him and they’re like you. … But they’re perfect people. And they’re not conspiring or going crazy and they tell me stories of things they’ve seen that you wouldn’t believe,” Trump said, describing the pilots as “Tom Cruise but taller.”

“Handsome, perfect people who say, ‘Sir, there was this round thing going about four times faster than my super jet,’ and you can tell they really do believe it,” Trump said, adding that he doesn’t believe in “aliens” per se.

“So, am I a believer? No, I can’t say I am, but I have met people who will seriously say they’ve seen some really strange things flying around,” he said, talking about the allure of Roswell, New Mexico, known for its paranormal activities, from alien sightings to UFOs.

“But you don’t have access to that information?” Paul asked.

“I have access, I talk to people, I actually have meetings, and they will say there’s something going on. When they say something, things are moving four times faster than in my beautiful top-of-the-line airplane. … Very smart, very credible people are saying they believe there’s something out there. And, you know, it makes sense that it could be there,” Trump said, adding, “Nevertheless, I’ve never been convinced.”

“For some reason, it’s not my thing. But a lot of people believe it’s true. A lot of very good, solid people believe it’s true. I know there are illegal immigrants, but that’s people that come to the border. We have a lot of them. That’s the ones I know. When you say ‘foreigners,’ I say ‘are they illegal?'” Trump continued, joking, “They may be illegal, but we don’t want to test them.”

“If they can run four times faster, we’re not going to test it,” Trump said.

Asked if an organization might be hiding information about so-called aliens, Trump replied: “Maybe.”

Trump continued:

There is a deep state. It certainly could be. But I don’t think about it. I was curious because I’ve been asked about it so many times. I’ve talked to people who say they’ve seen it. It’s very believable. There could very well be something out there, and why wouldn’t there be? If you look out into the universe, you see all the different planets, and you see this one relatively small planet. Why wouldn’t there be something on a planet 400 times larger than that? Why wouldn’t there be something, someone? So I certainly believe it.

This has been a topic of continuing interest as others have weighed in. For example, well-known conservative journalist Tucker Carlson has discussed his views and concluded that there is definitely a “spiritual component” to the “aliens” question.
