Rust Victim’s Family Drops Charges Against Alec Baldwin

Family of cinematographer murdered during film shoot rusthas dropped its lawsuit against Alec Baldwin.

This week it was announced that the family’s lawyers had filed papers to dismiss the lawsuit without prejudice, meaning it could be refiled at a later date.

No reason was given as to why.

Baldwin has consistently denied responsibility for the murder of Halina Hutchins in 2021. The actor claims he did not know the gun used to kill Hutchins was loaded.

For now, Baldwin has been exonerated.
