Joe Biden’s presidential campaign posted a video Sunday of actor Jack Black performing at a celebrity fundraiser in Los Angeles this weekend, in which the entertainer delivered glowing, albeit self-consciously and goofily, praise for the deeply unpopular incumbent candidate.

Black, dressed in patriotic American flag overalls and a “Dark Brandon” campaign T-shirt (which he called “the most patriotic outfit ever”), took the stage to deliver a monologue about turning down many other events just to support Biden.
“The president needs me,” he joked. “I’m sure he’ll praise me in his victory speech for all the sacrifices I’ve made to get here. Because when democracy is at stake, Jack Black answers the call. You’re welcome, Mr. President.”
