Hypocrisy exposed: Jillian Michaels’ rant on ‘crazy California’

So now this story is going around. Sage Steele Jillian Michaels, a woman with a history of being disbarred by ESPN for her wrong ideas, interviews fitness guru and former host of “The Biggest Loser.”

Michaels goes on and on about how she had to leave California because it was so insane, and the final straw was that if a grown man approached her son and essentially began to invite him into a pederastic homosexual relationship, it wouldn’t be considered illegal.

The reality is, California has taken the decadent premise on which Jillian Michaels lives her life and pursued it to its natural, abhorrent conclusion.

“Yes, that’s crazy! She would want to shoot that guy,” Michaels said, along with many other things that my subscribers would be happy to endorse.

However, Michaels has been married to another woman since July 2022. Now, let’s put that thought on hold for a moment and talk about something else.

Last week, another woman, who calls herself a conservative on her X profile and has tens of thousands of followers, chided me when I said that the Italian Prime Minister had a child out of wedlock well into her 40s. It was a long-term, committed relationship, I was told. Don’t judge. Blah blah blah.

Did I miss the memo? Is the official conservative position today the same as the position Gloria Steinem held in the 1970s?

Now, certainly, I was not a virgin on my wedding night. Not even close. My wife was not a virgin on her wedding night. We certainly lived sinful lives. So this doesn’t make me any more saintly.

This is about the truth.

Statistically speaking, the odds that my wife and I would continue in our marriage the way we were without an eventual spiritual conversion were extremely low, and the odds that our children would end up in a broken home, as I was, born illegitimately to a 15-year-old mother.

Despite our own spiritual conversions, my wife and I found it nearly impossible to save our marriage, but by God’s grace we have endured and even thrived, a testament to the power of faith and the fact that in Christianity there is always room for rekindling.

But before they can make a comeback, they need to know exactly what they have to come back from. Is it similar to Jillian Michaels or the women who starred in X? Do they seem to be above and beyond their goals in creating a lasting cultural or personal renaissance?

Benjamin Franklin forced his wife to raise another woman’s baby, and Thomas Jefferson may have had a sexual relationship with one of his slaves, but neither of them openly accepted their actions as normal or good. In fact, Franklin, a pagan, said just the opposite: he believed that of all the world religions he had studied, there was no higher moral code than the teachings of Jesus Christ.

There is humility in that, a recognition that God is God and I am not God. So again, I ask you: by what collective standard are modern wise men like Michaels and Twitter/X-Girls going to reconstruct society when they each so obviously ignore the fundamental things of God?

The reality is that the state of California adopted the decadent, revisionist premise on which Jillian Michaels lives her life and followed it to its natural, abhorrent conclusion. Yes, folks, the woke mob is more consistent than she is! Did she think she’d just slide halfway down the slope to Gomorrah and get comfortable in her own Idaho?

Of course, no matter how well-intentioned her partial awakening may be now, it never works. She moved out of California. So what? The real question is, how much did she take with her from California and not let go?

Only good religion can trump bad religion. Idols must be destroyed.

All of them.
