“My heart breaks for the family that was out enjoying a night out, and their lives have been changed forever because of someone who had no regard for the lives of others,” Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks said at a news conference. “It’s truly unfortunate, and our goal is to put these people behind bars, and to serve them life in prison.”
