Anti-Israel protesters are being chased by authorities after masked men took over a subway car and demanded that Zionists on board identify themselves, New York Police said.
The NYPD released a photo of the suspect and asked the public to help investigators identify him so he can be charged with extortion.
He yelled, “Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist. Repeat with me, now’s your chance to get out!” NYPD Transportation Commissioner Michael Kemper said in an online post.

No arrests were made that night.
The same day, anti-Israel protesters swarmed a Manhattan exhibition memorializing the victims of the Nova music festival who were murdered and kidnapped on October 7th.
Video of the incident showed protesters clashing with police during a rally at the exhibition center that they called a “city-wide day of rage against Gaza,” with both sides exchanging angry words after police ordered the protesters to move away from roadside barricades.

The installation seeks to recreate the event dedicated to peace and love that was brutally interrupted on that fateful day by the Hamas attack from Gaza into Israel.”
