House Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good (R-Virginia) said Wednesday that while the outcome of Virginia’s closely contested Republican primary remains to be seen, “we still have a chance to win.”
“We are at a time when we need to legislate a process to assess the accuracy of all vote totals from Election Day onwards so that everyone can have full confidence in the certified results,” Good said in a post on social platform X, noting that provisional and mail-in ballots have yet to be counted.
“I ask for full transparency from the authorities and patience from the people of the 5th District during the next few weeks while the certification of the results is completed. I believe we can still win,” the congressman said.
His primary challenger, state Sen. John McGuire, Victory was declared On Tuesday night, the race wasn’t over yet.
