“Judge Judy” Sheindlin called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s (Democrat) hush money lawsuit against former President Trump “nonsense.”
“You have to scratch your head to find out what the crime was. [Bragg] “New York City hated him for a while, too,” Sheindlin said of Trump on the show “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” Interview Streaming Friday Max.
“As a Manhattan property owner, I’d be much happier if the New York County district attorney took care of the criminals who are making it impossible for citizens to walk the streets and use the subway and tried to keep them off the streets, rather than spending $5 million or $10 million of taxpayer money trying Donald Trump for this nonsense,” the longtime TV judge told Wallace.
A jury last month found Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up alleged extramarital affairs during the 2016 election campaign. Trump is the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime.
“As a taxpayer in this country, I am outraged that this system would be exploited for personal aggression,” Amazon Freebie “Judy Justice” personality said of Bragg.
When asked by a CNN anchor what he thought of Trump, the 81-year-old former Manhattan Family Court judge replied, “I think he was a great businessman, a great real estate guy, and he was a great performer on ‘The Apprentice.'”
But Sheindlin, who endorsed former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley in January, didn’t respond so kindly when Wallace pressed her about Trump’s time in the White House.
“I don’t think Donald should have been president,” Sheindlin said. “I don’t think Donald even thought he would be president.”
