Professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones was riding his bike on the streets of Paris when a stranger kicked him off his bike in an apparently random attack.
Tyshawn Jones, known as the King of New York skateboarding, was crossing an intersection in the French capital when another cyclist came speeding up and kicked his bike out from under Jones.
Video taken by Jones’s companion showed the entire incident as Jones slowly approached an intersection in Paris, turned left as another cyclist crossed in front of him, then ran off to kick him away.
Jones fell to the ground as the unknown man fled down the crowded street.
The video was then shared, Through social media, The footage also includes footage of Jones’ companion asking the skateboarder if he was OK.
“It’s OK, I got this motherfucker on camera,” said the cameraman, later identified as Adidas executive Jascha Muller.
After the incident, Jones, 25, took to social media to try to track down the unknown man’s identity.
“If anyone knows this guy, please send me a DM. I just want to talk to this guy,” Jones said. “Why would you do this to such a nice person?”
Jones later revealed that he was ready to fight the man but had already fled on his motorcycle.
“He was on a bike with a throttle and was going about 50 miles per hour. I tried to catch up but I couldn’t.”
Jones, who is in France for Paris Fashion Week, is working with Adidas on a line of sneakers and clothing and recently released a skate shoe called the Tyshawn 2, he revealed on his Instagram account.
The skateboarder had promised to return to the intersection where the incident occurred “at the same time, the same hour, exactly” to confront the suspect, but was persuaded to stay put.
“Jascha Muller told me to ‘grow up,'” Jones captioned the Instagram Story.
Mueller, the clothing brand’s global director of sports marketing and action sports, was recording the incident when Jones was knocked off his bike.
“I’m back on the streets of Paris, I’m looking for my buddies and the Adidas salesman who filmed the video is telling me not to go out and do something irreparable, that it’s no use, I need to just think about my future and what I need to do,” Jones said. “I’ve got to be patient, I’ve got to let this guy go.”

He was born in Manhattan and spent his childhood in Hackensack, New Jersey, and Soundview, Bronx. According to NJ.com.
Jones became interested in skateboarding at age 10 while living in New Jersey after playing the video game Skate with his brother and uncle. GQ reported.
