The Boeing 737 MAX 8 jet was forced to turn back due to a malfunction in the cabin pressurization system, after passengers began suffering nosebleeds and ear pain, according to reports.
Passengers on Korean Air Flight KE189 bound for Taichung, Taiwan, reported that the plane’s systems began experiencing issues shortly after takeoff on Saturday afternoon.
Less than an hour after departure, the plane returned to Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea. This was reported by Yonhap News.
