Breitbart News reported that 13 people were shot in the attack, three of whom initially died from their injuries. A fourth person injured in the attack died from his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
Cellphone video of the incident showed the gunman standing in the parking lot with a pump-action shotgun in his hand. The New York Times Confirmed Law enforcement sources suggested the attacker did in fact use a shotgun.
Additionally, Matthew Gill worked at the grocery store targeted by the attackers. he told CNN. “A man entered the store with a shotgun and a shootout ensued with police.”
State Newsroom Arkansas Advocate Covered He condemned the shooting, criticizing the fact that Arkansas’ constitution allows people to carry handguns — in other words, no permit is required in Arkansas to carry a handgun for self-defense.

Additionally, the media failed to mention that Arkansas’ concealed carry laws would allow people like the grocery store workers to more easily arm themselves and defend themselves if this were to happen again.

KRON4 pointed to data collected by the Hope and Heal Fund and Romo GIS Enterprises that showed California will see roughly 1,800 gun deaths in 2021 and roughly 1,700 in 2022.
