It’s wedding week for Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey.
On Monday, Culpo posted a photo of the couple flying out to their wedding, which will be held this weekend in Rhode Island.
“Let’s start” she captioned the series of photos on Instagram. It also includes a bride emoji.
The 2012 Miss Universe and 49ers star running back began her journey on the airport runway, where she was greeted by a private jet, decorative letters spelling out “Mr. and Mrs.,” and balloons celebrating the occasion.
Culpo, who hails from Cranston, Rhode Island, posted a photo of an aisle decorated with petals and bouquets, revealing details of the jet’s interior.
There was also a digital slideshow showcasing photos of the couple.
Culpo also gave a sneak peek at the in-flight menu, which featured dishes such as breakfast flatbread, a summery strawberry crunch salad, an ahi sushi bowl and a chocolate-covered strawberry and espresso martini dessert.
Culpo, 32, and McCaffrey, 28, were accompanied by their toy goldendoodle, Oliver.
About a month ago, Culpo hosted a bridal shower in Malibu, Calif., where friends and family celebrated, with McCaffrey showing up to make a “special appearance.”
The three-time Pro Bowl player proposed to Culpo in April 2023, four years after the pair were first rumored to be dating.
It’s been an eventful year for the couple, starting with an oval-cut engagement ring from Ring Concierge and culminating in a very exciting 2023 season for the 49ers.
McCaffrey and San Francisco went 12-5 in the regular season but narrowly lost in the Super Bowl to the Chiefs, who won their second consecutive championship in Las Vegas in February.
Ahead of the big game, McCaffrey praised Culpo for being by his side throughout his busy year, even as he prepared for his wedding.
“She’s done a really great job,” McCaffrey told “Extra.”
“Right now, she’s really in charge of everything wedding-wise, but I do have input when I need it, but of course her style is incredible and I love whatever she wants, so it’s working out really well. I’m so grateful to have someone like her who not only supports me, but also handles all of that and allows me to do what I love right now while she works on her career.”
McCaffrey, the 2023 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, will be entering his eighth season in the league and third with the 49ers.
Last season, he recorded 1,459 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 564 receiving yards and seven passes for a score.
