Police say a violent group beat a 24-year-old woman inside a Bronx furniture store, doused her with bleach and stole her cellphone.
According to authorities, around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, two men and two women attacked the victim inside Fat Albert and Hollywood Furniture store on East 138th Street near St. Ann’s Avenue in Mott Haven.
Officers said the attackers hit her with a “blunt object,” then took her cell phone and began pouring bleach over her.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center with a cut to the head, police said. Authorities could not confirm if the victim was an employee of the store.
Police released photos of the suspects late Tuesday.
Police said one of the men had a dark complexion and was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
The other man is also dark-skinned and was last seen wearing a black graphic print T-shirt, dark grey trousers, a black and red baseball cap and grey sneakers.
One of the women is described as light-skinned and was wearing a black T-shirt with graphics, black pants and white shoes at the time of the robbery.
The other woman had medium skin and was wearing a dark grey T-shirt.
