In a further attack on free speech, the court-appointed trustee in Alex Jones’ bankruptcy proceedings has revealed plans to effectively shut down Jones’ media platform, Infowars, and liquidate its inventory to pay a portion of the $1.5 billion he owes to the families of victims of the Sandy Hook shooting.
The news comes following a recent ruling that Jones’ personal assets will be used to pay an astronomical judgment for spreading “misinformation.”
Today he Glenn Beck To share his side of the story.

“This is pretty historic,” Jones said. “The so-called ‘family’ represented by a top Democratic law firm, the same ones currently suing Elon Musk for defamation, went on CNN last week and said, ‘We don’t want money. [Infowars] It will be closed immediately.”
“They don’t want to sell millions of dollars of inventory: books, movies, T-shirts, supplements, water filters. They don’t want anything. They want it shut down immediately, and they say the reason is, ‘We want to stop him from speaking,'” he told Glenn. “This transparency is outrageous.”
Jones recalls that two years ago, two judges in Texas and Connecticut found him liable for “failure to provide discovery,” but Jones asserts that he “gave them everything,” but “there was no evidence whatsoever of what they said.” [he] He “did so” and was therefore found “guilty by default.”
“I was not allowed to defend myself, I was not allowed to argue,” Jones said, adding, “My lawyer [defend him].”
Jones said he had agreed to an “orderly liquidation” that would allow “things to actually be sold” and that could allow the company to offer some severance packages to employees.
But, “they immediately rushed to the same judge who convicted me in Texas without a jury trial and only a summary hearing. [with] “There’s no evidence to say, ‘Seize all of your assets,'” Jones told Glenn. “So now the federal receiver is fighting them. Today they’re trying to stop them, seizing their bank accounts, having the sheriff’s office come and close their doors.”
When Jones went public with the situation, the media again branded him a “conspiracy theorist.”
“They’ve acknowledged in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, CNN and all the other media that they intend to use this precedent in their legal battle against me,” he said.
“I’m guilty of a lot of things, I made a lot of mistakes, and 99 percent of what they said I said I didn’t say, but I couldn’t defend myself,” Jones admitted, saying the shooting was “totally staged” but added that “I never sent anybody.” [the families’] “Don’t defile the house” and “Don’t pee on the grave”
According to Jones, “Media [created] They created the “illusion” that he had committed many atrocities, making it impossible for him to refute them.
“Every nightly news channel” and “hundreds of publications” were “saying things I never said.” [but] “That’s the scary thing about the situation, because I couldn’t react,” he says.
