A fire broke out at a warehouse in Oakland, California, on Wednesday night, but firefighters managed to put it out.
The Oakland Fire Department reported on social media platform X that the three-alarm blaze broke out at Pacific Supply, 1735 24th Street, around 10:15 p.m.
The fire department said 70 firefighters were on the scene and managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the roofing supply company’s main building and into the gardens.

Residents were asked to keep their windows closed.
Firefighters continued battling the blaze two hours after it was reported, and the fire department said the blaze has been contained but is not yet under control.
No injuries were reported.
