Kamala Harris says Biden had ‘slow start’ but ‘strong finish’ after Anderson Cooper described Dem ‘panic’

Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on CNN to give her post-debate assessment, and was grilled by host Anderson Cooper about Biden’s poor performance.

Cooper said Democrats “panicked” over the “disaster” or “catastrophe” of Biden’s debate.

“There are voices within your party that are questioning whether President Biden should leave office. What are your thoughts on that?” he asked.

“We started slow but finished strong,” Harris began. “Joe Biden is extraordinarily strong.”

“We can debate style,” she added, when pressed by Cooper. “I understand what you’re talking about in the hour and a half we’ve had tonight, but I’m talking about three and a half years of historic performance and work.”
