Caitlin Clark is making waves in the WNBA and Angel Reese’s performance has quietly improved, but that may not last long.

The former Louisiana State University superstar and college national champion tied the league record for consecutive games with a double-double in a single season.
Reese had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Sky’s 95-83 loss to the Las Vegas Aces, tying Candace Parker with her ninth consecutive game with double figures in both points and rebounds.

As of Thursday, Reese was averaging 13.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, second only to A’ja Wilson in the WNBA. The two players together account for half of the players averaging a double-double in the league.
Reese is fresh off a 25-point performance against Clark and the Indiana Fever, including 15 points in the fourth quarter to cap a stunning comeback win.
Reese averaged 20.9 points and 14.4 rebounds at LSU.

With the loss, the Sky fall to 6-10, but they certainly have a new star in Reese.
