Reign US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau Thursday night’s presidential debate will try to settle one question: What is President Joe Biden’s actual golf handicap?

Former President Donald Trump Trump and Biden discussed many policy issues during the CNN debate, but it was golf that seemed to get both candidates most excited.

Trump addressed the issue while speaking about his own health, saying he recently “won two championships, not the senior championships, but the regular club championships.”

“You have to be pretty smart to do that and you have to be able to hit the ball far, and I can do that,” he continued. “He can’t do that. He can’t hit the ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a game of golf and he can’t hit the ball 50 yards.”

Biden was challenged on this claim, claiming that he was able to lower his handicap to six while he was vice president.

But Trump Avid golfer, I didn’t believe it.

“The biggest lie is that he’s a six handicap.”

Trump and Biden are sparring over golf handicaps as they try to convince voters he’s not too old to be president.

The debate over golf handicaps has circulated on social media, with DeChambeau offering a solution.

“Let’s settle the handicap debate. I’ll host a golf match on YouTube,” he wrote to X.

Biden later adjusted his handicap to eight, but said during the debate that he would be up for a “driving contest” if Trump could carry his own bag.

Fresh off his second major victory at the U.S. Open, DeChambeau offered to address at least one issue raised in Thursday’s debate.

The former PGA Tour pro has become a fan favorite since moving to America. LIV Golf, He’s in great form. He tied for sixth at the Masters and finished second at the PGA Championship with one birdie putt, and has risen from 155th at the start of the year to 10th in the rankings.
