The CNN presidential debate between President Biden and former President Trump was worse than anyone could have imagined.
“I saw something last night that I’ve never seen before.” Glenn Beck A comment of horror: “This country just keeps getting weirder.”
The moment Biden opened his mouth and Jake Tapper asked his first question about inflation, the horror show began.
“When he opened his mouth and that came out,” Mr. Glenn said, mocking Mr. Biden’s weak, lost voice, “it was breathtaking.”
But, as Glenn points out, “that was probably the clearest he’d heard all night.”
The debate only got worse, with Trump at one point not responding because he didn’t understand Biden’s comments about the border.
“Donald Trump is the most restrained person I’ve ever seen,” Glenn said.
While Glenn finds it “horrifying” that “this is the weakest showing in the history of our president,” he also feels there is one thing even more frightening about the debate.
“I’m very angry today. I don’t hear anyone on TV or in politics talking about the country. Everyone is talking about the election: ‘How do we replace him before the convention? How do we take him off the ballot? How do we get this guy out of football?'” he said.
“Do you know what our enemies were thinking last night? This country is in greater danger, clear and imminent danger, than it has probably ever seen in my lifetime,” he continues.
“What’s wrong with us?” he asks. “We’re not in worse shape because of Joe Biden, we’re in worse shape because people don’t realize the danger that’s in front of them.”
