During the parade, women’s soccer legend and political activist Megan Rapinoe laughed off questions about girls being forced to compete against boys in sports.
Rapinoe was seen driving a convertible BMW with her partner Sue Bird during the Pride Parade in Seattle, Washington, where she reportedly served as the grand marshal of the parade, which was also led by the Boy Scouts of America. Out kick.

Daviscourt later questioned how Rapinoe’s career would have fare if she had been forced to compete against men.
“Megan is a fantastic soccer player and has a chance to save the women’s sport,” the reporter told The Blaze News. “The best team in the world at the time couldn’t beat 14-year-old boys, so why did they think it was fair for boys their age to compete against girls who were at a much lower level?”
“Megan was lucky enough to not have to compete with boys growing up, which may have changed the trajectory of her career. Why wouldn’t she want to give young girls who look up to her the same opportunity?” the reporter added.
Daviscourt was referring to a training match between the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and Major League Soccer team FC Dallas’ under-15 academy in 2017.
