Paul George cozies up to wife in new photo after $212M contract

Paul George is off to a strong start to his $212 million offseason.

Shortly after news broke that former Clippers player George had agreed to a four-year, $212 million contract as an NBA free agent with the Philadelphia 76ers, George’s wife, Daniela Rajic, posted a sweet photo of the couple against a beautiful backdrop from what appeared to be a recent vacation.

“ILY,” Rajic captioned his Instagram Story as he sits next to George, 34, at a table with a waterfront view.

Now, Paul and his family are leaving his native California and heading for the East Coast.

Rajic seems to have enjoyed a recent trip to the Hamptons, which can be seen in photos on Instagram.

“To the east,” she captioned the post.

“This is where you belong lol,” Kendra Randle, wife of Knicks star Julius Randle, wrote in the comments section.

Paul and Rajic, who began dating in 2013, got engaged in November 2020 and married in June 2022 in an intimate ceremony in California.

The couple have three children: Olivia, 10, Natasha, 7, and 2 years old Paul Jr.

“I’m happy,” George previously told The Post when discussing his family life off the court. “I feel fulfilled. I’m healthy. I feel in control of my life and what’s going on. I’m in control of what I want for my kids. I’m in control of who I am as a father and as a husband. Life to me is just beautiful.”

George went on to explain that the turning point came when he realized there was more to life than basketball.

“I am now, [life] “Life is bigger than basketball. I’ve got kids I have to worry about, I’ve got families I have to worry about,” he said.

“… Every morning I wake up, I’m a father to three amazing kids and a husband to an amazing wife. That’s how I live my life every day. I want to do my best in everything I do and make my kids as proud as I can. And, honestly, that was a turning point that brought me a lot of peace.”

George appeared in 74 regular season games for the Clippers last season, averaging 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

He shot a career-best 47.1 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from three-point range and 90.7 percent from the free throw line.
