Marvel star Tatiana Maslany She-Hulk John McClellan, producer of the streaming series, attacks parents who refuse to accept the woke theory of “pronouns,” arguing that parents should not be allowed to “control their children’s self-perception.”
Maslany said authorities Educational Methods The law requires schools to inform parents if their child is gender confused, including if the child wants to use a particular “pronoun” in class. The rules also prohibit schools from reassigning students without parental permission.
Naturally, left-wing activists are outraged by the law, and known LGBTQ activist Maslany spoke out against the law banning schools from independently participating in gender politics while attending the Canada Walk of Fame event at the Hotel Saskatchewan.
In comments to reporters last week, Maslany argued that parents shouldn’t have any control over their children, exclaiming, “Parents shouldn’t have control over how their kids perceive themselves.”
“For the state government to legislate that is going too far. It’s ridiculous,” she added. CTV News.
The Marvel actress further argued that children have rights and parents don’t have rights over their children.
“Children have rights. They are human beings who have knowledge and know themselves and we should take our cues from them. In many ways, we should take our cues from them. We should listen to them and empower them to know who they are and name it,” she opined.
“That’s their right, not the parents’ right,” she argued.
The actress was inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame and awarded $10,000, which she announced at the ceremony that she would donate to a gay youth organization called “Lulu’s Lodge.”
