‘America First’ Vance and Burgum Emerging as Top Tier Of Veepstakes

Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart and New York Times bestselling author Defeat Biden Author Alex Marlowe said on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” on Tuesday that Gov. Doug Burgum (R-N.D.) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) were the top two in the race to be former President Donald Trump’s vice presidential nominee.

Host Larry Kudlow said, “You’ve all heard Governor Burgum. He’s a very humble guy and he didn’t do much to promote himself. Another name that’s emerging as a dark horse for vice presidential candidates is Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia. Virginia is a strong contender. Alex, what do you think of Youngkin as a running mate?”

“Yes, Yunkin’s argument is compelling, and he could certainly win Virginia,” Marlowe said. “I think he’s someone who will excite the moderate and mainstream Republicans, and maybe that will make them more inclined to reluctantly vote for President Trump if they’re still on the fence.”

He added, “From what I’ve heard, I don’t think he’s high on the list. The names I keep hearing are Burgum and J.D. Vance. I think Vance gives us a pretty historic chance. I’ve said to the president, you should add someone who is part of the ‘America First’ movement to the list of candidates. I don’t know if Youngkin has enough time to rise up the ranks, but he certainly has his fans.”
