UFC’s Sean Strickland brutally beats former Navy SEAL

UFC contender and former champion Sean Strickland brutally beat up a former Navy SEAL in a video that has outraged viewers and fans.

Fresh off a dominant win over opponent Paulo Costa at UFC 302, Strickland accepted the opportunity to spar with a Navy SEAL for five rounds during an in-cage sparring session.

The former SEAL’s name is Mitch Aguiar, and he’s actually an MMA veteran: Aguiar competed in 12 amateur bouts between 2013 and 2017, before turning professional in 2018. 2-1 Although he was active as a professional, he has not played in a match since 2020.

Many fans were outraged at Strickland’s decision to fight a former military man, perhaps not realizing that he himself was a professional fighter.

It’s also important to consider that Aguiar has never reached the ranks of the UFC or a similar organization and competes at 170 pounds, a weight class below Strickland.

Other viewers mocked Strickland for not maintaining the same “energy” he had in his UFC losses.

Strickland remained friendly after the session and later Praise for Aguiar For being willing to get in the ring with him.

“The only SEAL that said yes… but he’s the real deal. That’s probably the only reason he said yes,” he said in an Instagram Story.
