Politico spoke to dozens of Democrats, including senior White House staff, House Democratic leaders, Democratic fundraisers and Democratic strategists, who all shared the same view: Biden’s “closed sanctum,” in Politico’s words, hid Biden’s declining cognitive abilities and contributed to his missteps in the primetime debates.

Meanwhile, with the Biden campaign refusing to bow to outside pressure and Hunter Biden advising his father, Biden himself has acknowledged to “key allies” that he knows the end of his campaign may be near if he cannot overturn the public’s perception of his declining cognitive function, The New York Times reports. report.
