After Joe Biden’s disastrous first debate defeat, Democrats are scrambling to decide who will lead them into the 2024 elections.
Vice President Kamala Harris is also a candidate. Sara Gonzalez If you watch the highlights, you’ll see she’s not a good hire: Simply put, Gonzalez calls her “one of the worst DEI hires.”
“This thing is falling apart between Joe Biden, who’s an old white guy, and Kamala Harris, who everyone knows can’t handle the job, and they’re scared, ‘So how are you going to ignore Kamala? You sold her as the first black person, the first woman, the first Indonesian?'” Gonzalez says.
Not surprisingly, this is causing rifts among Democrats.
“They’re in a position of intense internal conflict right now because they’ve been touting DEI measures as if they were the most important qualification for the job,” Gonzalez said, pointing out that a representative recently appeared on the Stephen A. Smith show who perfectly exemplifies her point.
“The list of Democrats is long: Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer. The list goes on and on,” a Black female delegate told Stephen. “I can assure you that if we choose a white man over Kamala Harris or a Black woman, we will walk away, we will destroy the party.”
“Democrats, you have made yourselves responsible,” Gonzalez said.
“If you radicalize people with these efforts, they’ll be angry that you’re not doing enough about Israel and they’ll stop voting for you. If you radicalize people on climate change, they’ll be angry that you’re still using private jets and they’ll stop voting for you,” she continued.
It’s total chaos, but Gonzalez isn’t worried.
“‘If you don’t pick her, I’m going to crash your party.’ I love this. I can’t wait to see it happen,” she says.
