I’m proud to be associated with the first Black woman on the Supreme Court,” Biden said. “There’s so much we can do. There’s nothing we can’t do together. Look, this is the United States of America.”

The president’s subsequent comments suggested he may have been referring to Kennedy being elected as the first Catholic president of the United States, but he offered no such correction or clarification.
Biden’s disastrous interview aired the day after he met with about two dozen Democratic governors at the White House.
