‘Empty suit Anti-Semite’: Rep. Cori Bush’s team duped by a fake anti-Israel X account

New York Post report A parody social media account called “Linda Goldstein, Chief Rabbi of the Gaza Strip” reportedly scammed another brigade member, this time pro-Palestinian Rep. Kori Bush.

This development comes as Bush’s reelection campaignRabbi Linda GoldsteinThis is a fake X-account that deliberately posts anti-Israel sentiments to attract people ready to condemn the Jewish state.

The fake social media accounts had previously deceived Bush ally Rep. Jamaal Bowman, according to reports, and had contacted the Bush campaign late last month pitching fundraising ideas.

“Cori Bush is a perfect example of an empty anti-Semite who is completely ignorant about how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict works.”

The fake account contacted Bush’s director of finance and communications, Ronica Moody, who wrote in an email: “I have been flying between different cities since my congregation fled Gaza following the Israeli invasion on October 7.”

“Also, [Bush] “Going to the Gaza border to raise funds? That would be an amazing sight!”

Moody seemed to support Goldstein’s idea, replying on June 27: “Kori is interested in hosting one in Gaza and is in the process of planning it. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to seize the opportunity.”

Moody continued, “Theme [of the fundraiser] Is it Gaza?

Goldstein has made outlandish claims on social media in the past, including using menorahs made from missiles and digging terror tunnels at universities across the country, but this did not seem to interest the Bush campaign. Goldstein reportedly told Moody in an email that the fundraising theme could be the “theme” of the “intifada.”

“The agenda is structured around finding a final solution to the problem of Zionism,” Goldstein added. The Bush campaign did not respond to the email.

“Cori Bush is the perfect example of a ‘hollow’ anti-Semite who has no clue what’s going on with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but wants to speak out because it gives her an excuse to openly hate Jews,” said the man behind the parody account, a pro-Israel lawyer who goes by his first name, Michael, but declined to give his last name. But the email exchange was brought to the attention of a legitimate rabbi in Bush’s district, who said Democratic politicians should know better.

“Kori has not looked into anything related to Israel and Palestine, and that’s a great shame,” said Rabbi Susan Talbe, founding director of the Central Reform Congregation.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Bush campaign for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
