Biden has strongly denied the idea of dropping out and vowed to continue the campaign, arguing in one-on-one interviews that he is the best candidate to beat Trump.

He also underwent an independent cognitive ability test to assure voters of his ability, but refused to release the results, insisting he was “highly qualified.”

Despite recent turmoil in the race, Biden is catching up with Trump in key battleground states, trailing him by just 2 percentage points, a new poll shows.
