Former Yankees pitcher Colten Brewer vented his frustration in the dugout.
And he got hurt doing so.
Brewer, now with the Cubs, broke his non-pitching hand after punching a wall after Saturday’s game. The Athletic reported..
The right-hander appeared in relief in a 7-0 loss to the Angels, pinch-hitting for starter Kyle Hendricks and pitching just 2/3 of an inning, giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks.
After breaking his hand, Brewer 60-day injured list Sunday, according to The Athletic.
To fill the gap, fellow right-hander Hunter Bigge was called up.

Brewer has posted a 5.66 ERA and 1.60 WHP in 20 2/3 innings in 16 games this season.
He walked nine batters and allowed 13 earned runs.
The 31-year-old Brewer appeared in three games for the Yankees in pinstripes last season, giving up four runs in 8 1/3 innings.
Prior to the 2023 season, he spent three years in the Red Sox bullpen and one year with the Padres.
