The fallout from President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance continues, with the far-left Occupy Democrats lashing out at the far-left. The New York Times.
Occupy Democrats Posts On Instagram, “It’s about time The New York Times Step back for a younger, healthier, more consistent newspaper.”
it hurts.
So, what’s going on here…
Well, it all started with this editorial…
“To serve his country, President Biden should withdraw from the race.” read Apparently panicked post-debate commentary The New York Times:
Biden has said he is the candidate most likely to confront and defeat this threat of tyranny, and his case rests heavily on the fact that he beat Trump in 2020. That’s no longer enough of a reason for Biden to be this year’s Democratic nominee.
The president emerged Thursday night as a shadow of the great public servant he always was. He struggled to explain what he would accomplish in a second term. He struggled to respond to Trump’s provocations. He struggled to hold Trump accountable for his lies, mistakes and terrible plans. More than once, he struggled to finish sentences.
It was published the morning after the debate – a panicked editorial written just hours after the debate. meanwhile Discussion.
Well, a lot has changed in the last 10 days or so. First, and most importantly, Biden is refusing to step down. That’s all. Biden won the primary. That’s it. Biden is the sitting president. That’s it. Biden has the superdelegates. If he doesn’t want to step down, no one can force him to. He already has the nomination. The convention is purely ceremonial.
Biden showed just how stubborn he is in a letter to Congress on Monday morning. To fend off reports that House and Senate Democrats were planning some kind of rebellious intervention to oust Biden, he dropped a bombshell on them:
I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to fighting to the end, and to defeating Donald Trump. I have heard people’s concerns — their sincere fears and anxieties about what’s at stake in this election. I am not ignoring those concerns. I can say to all of this, loud and clear: If I wasn’t convinced I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024, I would not run again.
And then the coup de grace was delivered: “The voters, and only the voters, decide who the Democratic nominee is. How can we defend democracy in our country when we ignore democracy in our own party? We can’t do that. We won’t do that.”
Now, no one believes that Biden actually wrote that letter or read it. He probably tried to sign it with pudding. But that’s it. That’s it. So…
The accusations begin!
these are, The New York TimesThose who are already calling for Biden to resign will be making a cruel example unless they do so. Pull Like Joe Scarborough, he quickly turned around 180 degrees and Become subservient Like a wounded gerbil.
Neurotic idiot (Scarborough and The New York Times The morning after one terrible debate, media editorial boards come out to call for the Democratic nominee (the sitting president!) to step down. It was pretty amazing to watch this unfold while on vacation last week. If you really believe that one terrible debate followed by a week of corporate media news cycle is enough to convince a sitting president who has already clinched the nomination and is losing by just a few points to step down, then you’re totally in a bubble and quarantine.
A lot can still happen between now and Election Day, but Many other That would have to happen before a sitting president chooses not to run for reelection.
To me, this is all a good thing… Biden continues to campaign while the Democrats slam each other. Who could want anything more?
