“I’ve lived in Oakland for 58 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. This is a complex situation with multiple issues,” Chambers told the news outlet.

Thao is not the only progressive politician facing an upcoming removal election.

Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price (Democrat), who is funded by George Soros, has earned a reputation for being soft on crime.
