Spain forward Alvaro Morata was seen limping and holding his knee after a security guard slipped and ran into him. La RojaThey beat France 2-1 in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

Morata, who was substituted after 76 minutes, was seen grimacing and in displeasure after the incident, which occurred as Spain’s players were celebrating in front of their fans on the edge of the pitch.

An intruder entered from one side of the pitch and attempted to take a selfie with the players, and as a security guard tried to approach him, he slipped and hit Morata, causing him to fall.

Randal Kolo Mouani headed in the opening goal nine minutes into the match, becoming the first French player to score from open play in the tournament. Kylian Mbappé nearly doubled the lead with a blocked shot, but Lamine Yamal equalized 21 minutes later, becoming the tournament’s youngest ever scorer.

Spain quickly took the lead when Dani Olmo’s silky first touch saw him slot past Aurélien Chouameni and Jules Koundé was unable to stop the midfielder’s powerful shot, which deflected into his own goal.

After coach Didier Deschamps made three changes, bringing on Antoine Griezmann, Bradley Barcola and Eduardo Camavinga, France had some chances early in the second half, but Spain held on to their lead.

Spain became the first team to win six consecutive European Championship matches without going to a penalty shootout and will now face either England or the Netherlands in the final.
