Hunter received an overall rating of 95, making him the highest-rated wide receiver in the game and sixth among the highest-rated players in the entire game.

Tennessee defensive end James Pierce Jr., Ohio State cornerback Caleb Downs and running back Quinshon Judkins, Georgia State safety Malachi Starks and guard Tate Rutledge and Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham were also among those ranked 95th overall.
But Hunter being a top-tier wide receiver sparked debate on social media.
Hunter had 57 catches for 721 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the Buffaloes. He also recorded 30 tackles and three interceptions. Hunter was named an All-American last season.
