Iconic Actress Shelley Duvall, Who Starred In ‘The Shining,’ Passes Away At 75

Actress Shelley Duvall is best known for her roles in films such as: The Shining and PopeyeHe passed away at the age of 75.

Duvall’s longtime partner, Breakfast Club musician Dan Gilroy, said Duvall died peacefully in his sleep at his Texas home due to complications related to diabetes.

Additionally, she has created and produced numerous children’s shows, for which she has been nominated for two Emmy Awards.

From 1970 to 1974, Duvall was married to artist Bernard Sampson, after which she dated musician legend Paul Simon of Simon & Garfunkel for about two years before meeting Duvall Gilroy in 1989. Duvall did not have any children.
