Chuck Todd, chief political analyst, NBC News He harshly criticized President Biden and predicted his entire “career” would be overhauled as the embattled Democratic candidate refuses to withdraw from the presidential race.
Speaking on “The Chuck Toddcast” podcast on Wednesday, Todd began by criticizing Biden for portraying himself as a “bridge” for the Democratic Party during the 2020 presidential campaign and strongly suggesting he intended to be a one-term president.
“Everything I’ve learned has made me rethink a lot of Biden’s record,” Todd said. “Given the crisis his family was in in 2018, I still can’t believe he ran for president in the first place. Looking at what’s happened, I can’t believe he put his family through this.”
“And now, when you see his actions in sticking to this, I think it changes the whole narrative about Joe Biden. He’s always been all about his ambition. And his ambition is number one,” Todd added.

Todd made the shocking revelation on the podcast, saying senior cabinet members had told him Biden could not run for reelection in 2022.
“Two years ago, a cabinet member asked me out of the blue, ‘Do you really think he’s going to run? He’s not going to get re-elected like this,'” Todd recalled. “I said, ‘Well, you probably have more contact with him,’ and they said, ‘I don’t have much contact with him.’ He’s a fairly senior cabinet member. This was two years ago.”
“It’s the classic open secret, the untold story. It’s a story that everyone knows, but everyone’s afraid to talk about,” Todd said.

“I want him to make all the decisions,” former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said during an MSNBC appearance on Wednesday morning, adding fuel to the fire by suggesting Biden might resign, even though he reiterated his intention to continue campaigning in a letter to Democratic lawmakers on Monday.

Another shock that happened on Wednesday was Poignant guest essays Hollywood liberal George Clooney announced this in the New York Times.
Fresh from hosting a star-studded fundraiser for Biden in Los Angeles last month, Clooney called for a new Democratic nominee and made it clear that he saw the same Biden the nation saw in the presidential debates.
“It shocks me to say this, but the Joe Biden I sat with at a fundraiser three weeks ago was not the ‘big’ Joe Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same person we all witnessed at the debates,” Clooney wrote.
