The show took place in Denver on Saturday night, following the shooting at a Donald Trump rally.
UFC Fight Night took place shortly after what is widely believed to be an assassination attempt on the former president.
The company’s president, Dana White, has long been a friend of Trump and has spoken at his rallies, and is reportedly planning to speak before Trump at the Republican National Convention this week.

Apparently Evan Elder is also a supporter.
Following his submission win over Darius Flowers on the preliminary card, Elder voiced his support for his “son.”
“I heard they tried to kill my beloved Trump. Glad the guy is safe. Long live Trump. Let’s go. Trump 2024!” he said to thunderous applause after his victory.
Trump is a longtime UFC fan and has attended several events over the past few years, and he recently attended the Islam Makhachev vs. Dustin Poirier title fight at UFC 302 in Newark, just two days after he was convicted of first-degree falsifying business records.

UFC fighter says he “won’t hesitate” to cut hair to make weight for fight
Earlier, he attended UFC 299 in Miami, just hours after the Georgia rally, and praised White.

Trump was onstage in Butler, Pennsylvania, when shots rang out and he clutched the side of his face before Secret Service agents told him to “lie down.”

The gunman was eventually escorted off the stage, but not before shaking his fist at the crowd. Sources told Fox News that he was shot and killed by a Secret Service anti-sniper team.
The Trump campaign said he was “in good spirits.”
