Estonia’s Foreign Minister Kallas resigns to prepare for EU foreign policy role
The Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Karasusubmitted his resignation today, ERR report.
Kallas has been nominated to be the EU’s next High Representative for Foreign Affairs. Josep Borrell.
She will officially remain in her position as prime minister until a new government is sworn in.

Nick Thomas-Symonds is meeting European Commission vice-president Maroš Šefčovič for their first face-to-face talks on Monday to “set the ground for further discussions” on deepening ties, according to the Cabinet Office.

New UK government ‘committed to rebuilding relations with the EU’
Britain’s new EU relations minister is heading to Brussels to underline the Labour government’s determination to “rebuild our relationship” with the EU.
Nick Thomas Symons Russia will hold its first face-to-face talks with European Commission Vice-President Maros Šefčovič on Monday to “lay the groundwork for further discussions” on deepening ties, the Cabinet Office said.
Ahead of his visit to Brussels, Thomas Symonds said: “Our government Rebuilding relations with the European UnionStrengthening relationships, enhancing security, and addressing trade barriers.

Ahead of a vote in the European Parliament on Thursday Ursula von der LeyenRegarding the European Commission President’s candidacy for a second term, some groups have made it clear that they have demands in return for their support.
“Thursday’s vote is not a blank cheque,” said liberal Renew Europe leader Valerie Heyer.

Ukraine announced today that a serviceman had been shot dead after allegedly attempting to illegally flee the country, AFP reported.
The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) said the four soldiers were arrested as they approached the Moldovan border.

Estonia’s Foreign Minister Kallas resigns to prepare for EU foreign policy role
The Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Karasusubmitted his resignation today, ERR report.
Kallas has been nominated to be the EU’s next High Representative for Foreign Affairs. Josep Borrell.
She will officially remain in her position as prime minister until a new government is sworn in.
