“revelationCountry music star John Ricci’s new single, “The Last Song,” inspired by the last book of the New Testament, has rocketed to the top of Apple’s iTunes country charts in its first week of release.
The song reached number two on the overall charts, putting Rich alongside top artists such as Tom McDonald, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar and Shaboozie.

“revelation” takes a direct quote from the final book of the New Testament, specifically the prophecies of St. John, and sets it to a revival-style country melody that serves as both a warning and a blessing.
John Richie Recently spoken Breitbart News Daily He spoke to SiriusXM Patriot 125 about the new song and how it was inspired by the Book of Revelation.
“The reason I wanted to release this song in mid-2024 is because I believe a lot of people are going back to the Bible and trying to find some answers, some truth,” he said. Breitbart News Daily Hosted by Mike Slater.
“What’s on the page is the only complete truth. It’s not what you say, it’s not what I say, it’s not what the media says, it’s not what your preacher says. It’s what the Bible says. So this song is what the Bible says.”
Rich’s other big hits include “progress“, “The End of the World” and “Shut up about politics” He also said,revelation” acts as a warning, reminding listeners to look for the real meaning behind worldly obsessions like Trump vs. Biden, left vs. right.
“I think we’ve all gotten so caught up in all the fuss that’s going on that we’ve lost sight of what it really is, which is that there is a spiritual battle going on right now that is manifesting physically in what we’re seeing today.”
“This song wasn’t written to be a hit,” he added. “It wasn’t written for commercial or business purposes. It’s a message to get across.”
