Hulk Hogan delivered an impassioned speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, telling attendees that “it’s time to let Trumpmania take over.”
“You look out there and you look at real Americans, you think about Donald Trump, you think about how his family has been put at risk. You look out there and you look at Donald Trump, you think about how his business has been put at risk,” Hogan said. Said crowd.
“But after they attacked my hero last week and tried to kill the next president of the United States, I can’t take it anymore,” he said, ripping off the T-shirt he was wearing, but underneath it was one that read “Trump Vance – Make America Great Again! 2024.”
Hogan then addressed the crowd, saying, “And I said let’s let Trumpmania run wild, brother! Let’s let Trumpmania rule again! Let’s let Trumpmania make America great again!”
The audience erupted in a chorus of “USA! USA! USA!”
A few minutes later, Hogan revealed that while he had tried to keep his political leanings secret, that was no longer possible.
“Hey Trump supporters, you know what? I’m not here as Hulk Hogan, but I wanted to give you a little taste. My name is Terry Bollea and as an entertainer I try to stay out of politics, but with what’s happened in this country over the last four years and what happened just this past weekend, I can’t stay quiet any longer,” Hogan said.
Trump survived the assassination attempt on Saturday, when he was shot in the ear while speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to Breitbart News.
The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot and killed by the U.S. Secret Service.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that recent reports suggest that President Joe Biden (Democrat) will withdraw from the presidential race over the weekend, according to Breitbart News.
They could also back Vice President Kamala Harris or allow the party to choose a candidate at an open convention.
“The president’s family is reportedly adamant in supporting him to continue the campaign, and other aides have told him that the race against Donald Trump remains tight, regardless of the poll results,” the article states.
