Conservative talk show host Larry Elder, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News at the Republican National Convention this week, said that if Biden leaves office, Democrats would not be able to appoint a replacement for Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Larry, what message would you like to send to President Trump heading into the general election here?” Matt Boyle, Washington bureau chief for Breitbart News, asked Elder.
“The message is just to talk about his record. Biden has a record of three and a half years of high inflation, high gas prices, 8 million illegal aliens, and our enemies moving out of Afghanistan,” the former talk show host and California gubernatorial candidate in Gavin Newsom’s recall election responded.
“Donald Trump can talk about his record: The best economy in history. Low interest rates. Low inflation. Secure borders. Our enemies feared us. Our friends respected us. And that’s all I’m saying,” he added.
Asked for his thoughts on the ongoing turmoil and division within the Democratic Party, Elder said Biden may not survive and Democrats will not be able to find a replacement for Kamala Harris.
“Biden is a dying man. The only question is how long he will last. Axelrod, one of Obama’s assassins, has said publicly, ‘I want him gone,’ which means Obama has said he wants him gone. Pelosi has said it. Schumer has said it. It’s only a matter of time before Obama says it,” he said.

Biden has been isolating at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, since being diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Conflicting reports have been circulating on social media about the president’s next move. The New York TimesSources said Biden may endorse Kamala Harris immediately, but reporter Mark Halperin said “multiple sources” insist the president will let an open convention decide on his next nominee.
