The Ravens have the talent in the secondary.
The AFC’s current No. 1 seed signed former Bears safety Eddie Jackson, a two-time Pro Bowl player who was released in February, to a one-year contract. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport,.
Jackson, who turns 31 in December, is entering his eighth season in the NFL.
He will once again be teamed with linebacker Roquan Smith and join one of the league’s best defenses.
The safety, originally from the University of Alabama, was the 112th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and won the College Football Playoff national title game Defensive MVP award for his performance in the Crimson Tide’s 2016 win over Clemson.
Jackson recorded three tackles and one interception in that game, but a broken leg caused him to miss the 2017 draft the following season.
With the Bears, Jackson entered the league as a full-time starter as a rookie despite being a third-day draft pick.
Jackson was named to the All-Pro first team in 2018 and was selected to consecutive Pro Bowls in 2018 and 2019.

He suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury in a Week 12 loss to the New York Jets in 2022 but returned to the starting lineup last season.
In his career, he has played and started in 100 games over seven seasons with the Bears, recording 15 interceptions and 10 forced fumbles.
