Hollywood star Sharon Stone has revealed that she is considering moving to Europe if former President Donald Trump wins the November election.
During an interview on the red carpet at the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, where she was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award, Sharon Stone did not mention Trump by name, but made her political views clear.
“I’m certainly considering buying a house here and I think it would be a wise choice at this point.” Basic Instinct Starr told Deadline.

When asked if the move was politically motivated, she replied, “Absolutely. Absolutely. I don’t think this is something our country has ever faced before to see a presidential candidate who runs on a platform of hate. We’ve faced candidates who run on a platform of ignorance. But I don’t think we’ve ever seen a candidate who is so blatantly running on hate.”
Stone did not elaborate on what “hatred” or “abhorrence” referred to, and Deadline’s reporter did not dispute the actress’ claims.
“Historically, every country goes through a period when someone wants to own the country, and more often than not, people make it happen. […] “Obviously, I’m deeply concerned about what’s going on in my country right now,” Stone said during the festival. “This is the first time in my life that I’ve actually seen someone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.”
In 2016, many Hollywood celebrities vowed to leave the United States if then-presidential candidate Donald Trump won.
Among them were Amy Schumer, Lena Dunham, Cher, Samuel L. Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Snoop Dogg, George Lopez, Miley Cyrus, and even Barbra Streisand vowed to move to Australia or Canada.
None of them kept their promise.
