McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger appeared on the “Today” show on Tuesday to discuss the company’s proposed $5 meal plan as a response to rising fast-food prices.
McDonald’s limited-time $5 meal set will be available at most locations for four weeks or more.
While it was originally scheduled to last about a month, the majority of McDonald’s restaurants nationwide (93%) intend to keep the menu item for longer, according to a message obtained by FOX Business.
For $5, you get your choice of two sandwiches — a McDouble or a McChicken — plus a small side of fries, four McNuggets and a small soda.
