September 11, 2001 was a tragic day for all Americans, when thousands of people lost their lives.
However, this does not mean that official statements are beyond question: they should be thoroughly scrutinized, in order to honor the victims.
“We live in a matrix of false lies. One of those lies is that 19 hijackers were able to defeat the world’s most powerful military and bring down three buildings with two planes. This story makes no sense.” Alex Stein Before I heard Matt Campbell say this,
Campbell, whose brother tragically died in the attack on the Twin Towers, told Stein he believes we haven’t been told the truth about what happened.
“My brother was 31 and worked for Reuters,” Campbell told Stein, noting that his brother was at a conference and was not normally in the building. “As is often the case, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Campbell began to have questions about what had happened soon after the Afghanistan war began, especially after he learned that 15 of the 19 alleged hijackers were Saudis who had been primarily trained in the United States.
“It was a slow process, but initially for me it was about looking at intelligence failures and the backgrounds of all the hijackers,” he said.
Now Campbell is trying to sue the government.
“Almost every attempt at litigation over 9/11 has either failed or been settled after someone pleaded guilty,” Campbell explains.
“For me, the only option was always to take legal steps to wake people up or expose the truth,” he told Stein, but acknowledged it wasn’t easy. “It’s not easy to constantly think about and talk about someone’s death and murder and, in this case, a cover-up.”
Mr Campbell is also calling for the inquest into his brother’s death to be reopened.
An inquest will be held at the Coroner’s Court to fully investigate the cause of death.
“The police never carried out any legally required investigation or enquiry into how my brother died,” Campbell explains. “There was no evidence that explosives were used.”
“It was never submitted before the coroner,” he added, noting that they had petitioned the attorney general twice but been denied. “In fact, they threatened to sue last year, but their argument was so weak that they caved in and withdrew the initial denial.”
“It makes you wonder what they’re scared of,” he added.
“We know what they’re hiding. They don’t want to talk about 9/11 because it was an international incident and they know exposing the truth will only make it worse. That’s why we’re grateful that you’re continuing to fight,” Stein said.
