Former TV talk show host Montel Williams seems happy that his ex-girlfriend, Kamala Harris, has become the Democratic presidential nominee, but he flatly refuses to talk to the media about his 2001 relationship with her.
When Joe Biden withdrew from his party’s nomination last weekend, Williams initially endorsed Maryland’s Democratic governor, Wes Moore, as Biden’s successor.
“I want to see @iamwesmoore come out on top or on my ballot and I’m ready to campaign,” Williams told X followers.
I’d love to see it translation: Whether I top the list of candidates or not, it’s on my ballot and I’m ready to campaign.

TMZ immediately Posts The article points out that after Biden resigned, Williams endorsed Governor Moore instead of Ms Harris.
However, Williams slammed TMZ, accusing the outlet of “misinterpreting” his comments.
“Sorry guys but my tweet has been grossly misconstrued. I will be voting for whoever can beat Trump,” Williams told TMZ on X.

Williams has also warned media that he would not respond to requests to discuss his relationship with Harris, who worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Francisco at the time of their relationship.
As TMZ noted, Williams warned against questions about Harris, writing, “I’ve said what I want to say about what continues to be a hot topic. My friends in the media might want to think twice about wasting their time on photos that are over 20 years old. You’re going to get some unpleasant reactions if you do.”
TMZ added that Montel’s publicist has already posted screenshots of the media inquiries and revealed the identities of the reporters, meaning they appear to be keeping quiet on the matter.
