Peter Schweitzer, The New York Times bestseller Blood Money: Why the Powers That Be Turn a Blind Eye When China Kills Americansbelieves the furor surrounding President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race was “primarily an attempt” to extract the best deal possible for the Biden family.
talk Breitbart News DailySchweitzer reminded the audience that Biden is a central figure in the family and its corruption, and that the 81-year-old Biden must have been trying to cut the best deal possible for himself and his family’s benefit before officially withdrawing from the presidential race, finally making his long-drawn-out decision to withdraw from the race about a month after his underwhelming performance in a debate with former President Donald Trump.
“If there’s one thing we know about Joe Biden, it’s that he’s a guy who has always made deals and negotiated for his family throughout his political career,” Schweitzer explained. “So I think the issue that we’ve seen among the Biden family in recent weeks has not been, ‘Is he going to stay or not?’ I think it’s primarily been an effort to try to extract the best deal possible for himself and his family.”
“I think there have been a lot of discussions and negotiations with major Democratic donors, and I expect that over time after he leaves office, his family will become involved in various deals and opportunities with major Democratic donors,” Schweitzer predicted.
“So I think Joe Biden and his family were looking after themselves,” he said, concluding that they knew their money was drying up and so were probably just treading water, remaining in the campaign only on the surface while they waited for the best deal they could.
“I think they’ve probably got that secured,” he said, offering an example of what that might look like.
“Hunter gets a job anywhere. James gets a contract anywhere. Joe Biden and his family, I don’t know if this is true or not, have some kind of production deal with Netflix,” he said, citing that as an example of how “anything is possible.”
“You know, a lot of the people who ran his Finance committee, Jeffrey Katzenberg and others, have a history of making deals with Democratic candidates and certainly have the money to do so, so I think that’s what was going on,” he said, emphasizing that this is “true of Joe Biden’s history.”
Host Mike Slater cited a fictional Netflix scenario in which the deal went like this: “‘Hey Joe, we’re giving your family a $50 million production deal, and if you leave now, you have to make a documentary in the next 10 years, or whatever time frame your contract says.’ Is that really how the world works?” he asked.
“Yes, absolutely. And, you know, there could be a consulting deal. Joe Biden has a brother who already works at a law firm,” he said, noting that he does not have a law degree, but the firm is “led by a big Democratic donor who is a longtime friend of Joe Biden.”

“So you can have a lot of different things, not just in Hollywood, but in law firms and corporations. Hunter becomes an international business consultant for an organization. I think that’s exactly what’s happening,” Schweitzer said, reiterating that Joe Biden is “the planet around which all the other planets revolve in the family.”
“And so, essentially, you have five mouths to feed as part of a large extended family. That’s always been the case and I think it always will be. And you might add Jill Biden to that list,” he said, adding that the Government Accountability Institute will be following these developments.
