Last Friday, an unidentified person announced that Joe Biden would withdraw from the election race the following Sunday. However, this information was denied by both Joe Biden and the White House.
Then on Sunday, Joe Biden announced that he would indeed be declining the Democratic nomination and withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race. Interestingly, this shocking announcement was made via social media.
Apparently, Biden’s decision to pull out was driven by “money and polling,” fears that continuing the campaign would “destroy the Democratic Party,” and the fear that “staff, friends, [and] All the donors have abandoned Joe Biden.”

1. “Why didn’t the president speak from the Oval Office? [Office] Like any other president?
Glenn thinks the answer is that “there was a gun waiting to go off.”
“Will he resign by 2pm on Sunday, or what?,” he speculates.
2. “What did Joe Biden get in return for stepping down? Did someone promise him that he would not be held accountable for any crimes he may have committed?”
“If it wasn’t for the president, a pardon would be granted. [and] “They can pardon his family,” Glenn said.
Plus, they could point to Trump and say, “If Trump becomes president, it will just be revenge,” so “we” had to get rid of Biden in order to pardon him before the transition of power.
3. “Why?” [do] You dump [Biden] You say it’s because he’s incompetent, but would you allow him to run the country for the next six months?
“That’s worrisome,” Glenn said, adding that the decision is apparently “inconsistent.”
