Anti-Israel protesters released maggots and mealworms at the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was staying during his visit to Washington DC.

The group also claimed to have released crickets on “multiple floors of the hotel.”
“We are an independent, transnational grassroots movement of Palestinian youth committed to the liberation of our homeland and people,” the group’s website says. To tell.
“Try it!!” the group wrote in the post. “Maggots unleashed on the Criminal Zionist War Table!”
“Palestinian protesters wreaked havoc at the Watergate Hotel last night as Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents and the Secret Service continued to terrorize our people by disrupting peace,” the group added. “They left mealworms and maggots (no reference to Prime Minister Netanyahu) on the banquet tables and released crickets on several floors of the hotel.”
The group added that fire alarms had been sounded on several floors of the hotel for “more than 30 minutes” to “ensure that Prime Minister Netanyahu and parliament have no time to rest before failing to achieve any of their military and political objectives and humiliating themselves before the world.”
“We hope their dreams are haunted by the deaths of our people and the decline of our society,” the group added.
This comes ahead of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s address to parliament at 2pm.
Since Prime Minister Netanyahu received an invitation from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) to address a joint session of the U.S. Congress in June, several lawmakers have announced they would boycott the prime minister’s speech.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (Independent, R-Vermont) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) have both said they will boycott “war criminal” Netanyahu’s speech.
Anti-Israel protesters gathered in the rotunda of the Cannon House office building on Tuesday afternoon in protest of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s upcoming speech.
Anti-Israel protesters also projected a large wanted sign featuring Netanyahu’s face onto the Watergate Hotel on Tuesday night.
Breitbart News reached out to the Palestinian Youth Movement for a statement but had not received a response as of press time.
